The Story2

CAT, MOUSE, AND COCK
One day there was a little mouse running and crying. “Mummy….Mummy….,” he said. When his mother heard the little mouse’s cry, she becomes worried and scared. “Why are you crying? Are you hungry or you were disturbed by your friends?” his mother said. “Just tell me what you saw at the garden,” his mother said worriedly. “I saw two strange creatures which I have never seen before.” “One of the two creatures has a long tail and wore velvet like us. He has green eyes and looks friendly and gallant. He said that he wanted to be my friend.” Then I saw another creature. The second one looked very frightening. His legs are yellow and wore a red hat on his head. He always moved his eyes and the most frightening thing for me, it has a pointed mouth. Then his mother interrupted, “Did they try to catch you?” “No, Mum, not at all!” answered the little mouse. Then the little mouse continued his story, he often flapped his wings and opened his mouth shouting loudly cookadoodledooooo……! I was very scared and then ran home. Hearing the little mouse’s story, his mother just smiled and said, “Oh, my son….the creature with the yellow legs is a cock. Even though he looked frightening, he won’t hurt you.” “Then, the creature with black velvet is called a cat. He looked friendly, but he is actually very cruel. He is the killer of our family. He would have preyed on you if the cock hadn’t come,” the little mouse’s mother explained. “Oh, Mum…, I feel ashamed. I thought he was a good creature.” Then his mother said, ”Everything will be all right, my son. You don’t need to feel ashamed. But, you must always remember this, that sometimes we cannot assess someone from his appearance.”

FIRST DAY AT SCHOOL
Tomorrow is Gabi’s first day going to school. Gabi’s never gone to school before. “Gabi, your teachers will look after you and you will have many friends there,” said Mom. “Your teacher will ask you to play together and to do many interesting activities,” explained Mom. That night before going to sleep, Gabi imagines how her school will be. “Is the teacher grumpy?” Gabi wonders. “How does she look like? Is she scary?” she wonders again. In the morning when Gabi wakes up, Mom is preparing Gabi’s uniform. The uniform is so cute. It’s white and red little square, with a little tie. Gabi wears her new uniform after taking a bath. It fits to her body. After breakfast, Mom takes her to school. At school, Gabi’s new friends have arrived. They are playing and talking together. Soon the bell is ringing. Gabi enters her classroom with her friends. In the classroom, there tables and chairs in many colors. The walls are full of paintings of cute dolls. In front if the classroom, there are two teachers, who smile cheerfully to the children. Gabi also smiles at her teachers. The teachers ask them to sing and dance. After that they do coloring. After they have done with the coloring, the teachers allow them to bring the picture home to show it to their parents. It is time to go home. Mom has been waiting for Gabi in front of her classroom. Gabi is so excited, because school is fun. Tomorrow Gabi will go to school again.

THE RED DWARF, LOST IN THE CAVE OF SKELETONS
Red Dwarf wanted to go to Magnolia Fairy’s house. Suddenly, water started to fall from the sky. Tes-tes-tes…..! “Oh!” exclaimed Red Dwarf. “I have to take a shelter while waiting for my brothers.” Then Red Dwarf took a shelter under the yellow wood. Out of the blue, he heard someone greeted him, “Hi…little child!” Red Dwarf turned his head to the direction where the voice came from. He saw a yellow Fairy sat on a mushroom. Red Dwarf approached angrily. “Why did you mock me by calling me little child?” “Oh, sorry! I didn’t mean to mock you,” Yellow Fairy explained. “I just want to make friend with you. That’s why I greeted you.” “But I hate to be called little child,” Red Dwarf said. “All right. I won’t call you like that again.” Yellow Fairy said. “So, are we friends?” Red Dwarf smiled. “Yes, we’re friends.” “Why do you play alone?” Yellow Fairy asked. Red Dwarf answered, “My brothers will accompany me if they have finished their duties.” A while ago, the dwarfs were asked by the Queen to help her sew a blanket for the King. Each dwarf had different duty. “My duty was to stitch all sides of the blanket,” Red Dwarf explained. “I finished my assignment in a short time and it was faster than my brothers. That’s why I could play earlier than them.” “Ooo…. I see,” Yellow Fairy said. Soon after the rain stopped. There were noises came from the point of street. Yeah, those were the voices of six dwarfs who wanted to see Red Dwarf. “Come here quickly, my brothers!” Red Dwarf shouted. “Have you finished duties?” The six dwarfs smiled proudly. “Of course, brother!” After the rain stopped, the sky looked bright as it used to be. There no black clouds in the sky. The moon and the stars came out from their hiding place. “Hurray….! We can play again under the moonlight.” Yellow Fairy smiled too, while watching water grains in tip of the leaves. The moon became brighter. Its light made yellow fruits looked shiny. “Look at that fruit! Its red color is so beautiful,” Red Dwarf said. White Dwarf replied, “Its flower is white, beautiful, and fragrant.” Yellow wood was indeed. It bears fruit in any season. After the white flowers drop off, the green fruits will appear. The color of the fruits will change into red when they ripe.

“Here are the tickets and the change. Have a safe trip to Jakarta,” said the ticket seller. “Thank you,” answered Dad.

I’m so sorry. I must be misread,” the man apologized. “No problem,” Suzy said. “Show me your ticket, please,” asked the ticket officer. “Here are our tickets, Sir,” said Dad giving the tickets to the man. “Thank you,” said the ticket officer. “Please enjoy your meals.” “I’m bored Mom,” said Suzy. “Me too,” said Azis. “I have toys for you. You can play with them before getting sleepy,” Mom cheered them up. “Wake me up as we arrive, Mom,” said Azis.
“Gambir is at the next stop,” informed the train steward. “Be ready, everybody,” said Dad and he took the luggage off the rack. “So, we have arrived in Jakarta,” Dad said. “Dad, I want to go by train again,” Azis said. “Next time, Azis,” said Mom.
